On behalf of the organizing committee for the NDSC, I am excited to share that the NDSC application at the Academy of Management Meeting is now live! The application form for this year's consortium is available at: https://z.umn.edu/NDSC
The New Doctoral Student Consortium (NDSC) will take place at the AOM annual conference this summer in Chicago on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 8:00am–5:30pm CST.
The NDSC is one of the longest-running and most well-attended pre-conference activities. Our mission is to provide a professional development outlet for doctoral students entering the first or second year of a doctoral program, as well as those considering entering a doctoral program. The NDSC is an interactive environment in which doctoral students can learn skills to succeed in a doctoral program and enter the academic profession. Participants will meet representatives from Academy of Management divisions and interest groups, network with fellow doctoral students from around the world, and learn how to get the most out of the Academy of Management Meeting. We are committed to facilitating doctoral students' initial experience with, and further integration into, the Academy of Management and the academic community at large.
If you are embarking on a doctoral journey in the field of management or are in its early stages, the NDSC is the perfect resource hub for you! We also kindly ask everyone to share this opportunity with your PhD students who will be first or second-year students in the management area this coming fall. We encourage them to apply if they plan to attend the AOM this year.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
NDSC organizing committee
