🌍 It's time to talk about Organizations & Freshwater.

For years, corporate sustainability conversations have been dominated by carbon footprints and net-zero targets. While managing greenhouse gas emissions is absolutely critical, it has inadvertently left another planetary crisis in the shadows: global freshwater systems disruption, depletion, and pollution.

The UN has issued a clear, urgent call to action-freshwater ecosystems are under unprecedented stress from over-extraction, pollution, and climate disruption. We cannot solve the climate crisis without solving the water crisis.

That is why we are bringing this crucial conversation to the forefront.

📍 At GRONEN in Barcelona next week, join us for our PDW: "Inspiring Research on Organizations and Freshwater Stewardship"

    👉 Wednesday June 10th @ 1100 CET in ESADE Building 2 Room 211

This workshop bridges the gap between cutting-edge academic research, freshwater science, and research methods. We'll move beyond basic "water reduction" metrics and dive into true freshwater stewardship-understanding watershed health, localized risks, and how businesses can actively restore the ecosystems they rely on.

    What we will cover:

    ·      💧 Freshwater science: Understanding how freshwater systems work from a scientific perspective

    ·      📊 Qualitative data and mixed methods: Learn about how to use traditional qualitative research and mixed methods to examine stakeholder relationships and processes of freshwater stewardship by organizations.

    ·      📊 Quantitative data:  Learn about the CDP data and other corporate freshwater stewardship approaches and strategies

    ·      👉 Organizers and Presenters include Lucie Baudoin, Daniel Arenas, François Collet, Frederik Dahlmann, Samuli Patala, Veronica Villena, and Julia Martínez-Fernández

Whether you are an expert in this area or are brand new, you are welcome to join and we hope to see you there!
