Panelists and Discussant will converse about potential research trajectories involving B Corps, measurement systems, and institutions preserving the integrity of sustainable development. Specifically, scholars will explore the role of institutional leadership and policy innovations for purpose-driven assessment schemes by highlighting the field of B Corps and the role of B Lab, the institution that oversees the B Corp certification assessment. Panelists may concentrate on the following question: how institutions can support the diffusion of purpose-driven businesses? Is the case of B Lab for the B Corps and benefit corporations the model to follow? What alternative models are emerging? The final part of this section will be dedicated to Q&A with the audience.
The second section of the PDW is dedicated to participants who have submitted short papers. The admitted participants will receive feedback from the Round Table Facilitators and other participants. The Round Table Facilitators represent different backgrounds and methodological expertise, but all share interests, experience and ongoing research activities about the B Corp movement.
