The position is available from November 1st, 2007 or soon after.
Research areas will be within organisational learning, technological change and sustainability with special focus on development of process competences and project management in engineering firms as well as in engineering educations. Research experience especially related to sustainability, environment and planning will be an advantage. The position is primarily attached to the research group in Science, Engineering Didactics and Organisational learning.
The position does also involve research tasks related to a further development of problem based learning in engineering educations, including the Master in Problem Based Learning in Engineering and Science. This will be made in collaboration with UNESCO chair i Problem Based Learning and <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Danish</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">Center</st1:placetype></st1:place> for Engineering Educations.
Teaching will primarily be in organisational learning and problembased learning in engineering educations, combined with participation in the teaching in Technology, Humans and Society as well as in Collaboration, Learning and Project Management at den Teknisk-naturvidenskabelige Basisuddannelse. Besides, there will be teaching in sustainability and environmental communication at the Master programe in Environmental management, but also in other study programmes at the University.
Qualification requirements:
The level of qualification for Associate Professors shall correspond to the level, which can be achieved on the basis of the appointment as Assistant Professor, but may be achievable in other ways. The appointment presupposes that the applicant can demonstrate original scientific production at an international level as well as documented teaching qualifications.
Research experience especially related to sustainability, environment and planning will be an advantage. The position is primarily attached to the research group in Science, Engineering Didactics and Organisational learning.
Appointment to the position requires that both research and teaching qualifications are at the requested level. The two qualifications will be given equal and principal priority in the overall assessment.
