    Dear Colleagues,

On Wednesday, April 5th at 7 PM eastern, The Bard Center for Environmental Policy will host a national screening of "Priceless", an episode from the National Geographic Series, Years of Living Dangerously.  The one-hour show, focusing on both carbon pricing and the biodiversity loss threat from climate change, will be followed by a webcast panel discussion. Participating schools will be able to watch the episode at no charge, and the panel will welcome questions from a national viewing audience. A great event to kick off Earth Month! Students clubs and classes welcome to participate.

Please Sign-up Here to stay updated about this free screening and national discussion.

You can preview the dual content of the  PRICELESS episode:

THE SIXTH EXTINCTION  with Aasif Mandvi, and  PRICE ON CARBON with Nikki Reed

In addition, next Wednesday, March 1 at noon eastern, join a conversation about Washington State's failed effort to pass a carbon pricing policy last November. KC Golden will discuss the politics of carbon pricing on Bard CEP's National Climate Seminar. Log in at https://bluejeans.com/678425365.

Finally, please alert interested students about the Third Annual Asia/Environment Student Research Conference: April 13-14 at Bard College. Undergraduate and graduate students engaged in research related to Asia and the environment are invited to submit posters and papers for presentation at this third annual, one-day conference.

Hope you and your students can join us on April 5. Sign-up Here to participate. Thanks for the work you are doing.
