The Hagan School of Business, Iona College, New Rochelle, NY will host
its fourth annual International Business Symposium, in cooperation with
the University of Connecticut CIBER (Center for International Business
Education and Research), on Thursday, April 27, 2006 in Spellman Hall
Lounge, from 6:00 - 8:30 PM.
This year's topic is "Globalization & the U.S. Economy: Challenges for
the Future." A distinguished panel will discuss such questions as: How
is the globalization of business and liberalization of trade affecting
our own economy and society? What kind of future will our students face
in terms of employment and standard of living? What can be done to
address the problems inherent in the changing business landscape,
including national security?
A light buffet supper will be served. Seating is limited, so please
