Dear friends,
For a problem-focused OB textbook entitled Your Life in Organizations (to
be published by PrenticeHall) I am looking for a case of 2000 words or
more, or materials that I might use to write such a case, on business
ethics and the natural environment.
I am specifically interested in materials that might be interpreted using
concepts of:
1) Leadership: For example, how do leaders hold their followers
accountable for their behaviors?
2) Group decision making:
How do issues of deindividuation, group membership, and group
decision making processes affect the ethical quality of the
outcome?
3) Organizational culture: how does organizational culture affect
ethical outcomes?
4) Power and politics: How do internal power and politics affect
ethical outcomes?
I am NOT looking for something involving individual level ethics (crises of
conscience, for example) or macro level issues such as power struggles
involving external stakeholders.
Any recommendations will be most appreciated. Thanks for your help!
