    Dear colleagues,

    I'd like to share the latest systematic review released by the Network for Business Sustainability. Stephen Brammer of Warwick Business School and co-authors Andrew Millington and Stefan Hoejmose of the University of Bath's School of Management have systematically reviewed past academic and practitioner research on "Managing Sustainable Global Supply Chains".

    Stephen and his team identified 2,132 articles that covered this topic and found 194 articles (124 academic and 70 practitioner) most relevant. From those articles, they identified:
    ·         the pressures, motivations and pay-offs of establishing sustainable supply chains;
    ·         the baseline practices and best practices associated with establishing and maintaining sustainable supply chains.

    With the guidance of a group of managers, the report is not only academically rigorous, but managerially relevant. I encourage you to read the full report: Managing Sustainable Global Supply Chains: Systematic Review (73 pages) and Executive Report (21 pages). This really is a wonderful report, and the managerial feedback on the executive report has been tremendous. In fact, the Times of India covered the story.

    I encourage you to join the  Network for Business Sustainability (it's free), if you haven't already done so. It aims to bridge the communities of research and practice through sustainability knowledge. We translate research for managers, who in turn help us identify the research they would most like to have translated. Our membership is over 1700, and is growing rapidly.

    Other systematic reviews conducted by the Network include:
    ·         Embedding Sustainability in Organizational Culture
    ·         Business Adaptation to Climate Change
    ·         Socially Conscious Consumerism
    ·         Engaging the Community
    ·         Metrics for Valuing Sustainability

    Sincerely,
