    'The Emerging Global Governance Paradigm: The Role of Business

    and its Implications for Companies, Stakeholders and Society

    Dear Colleagues and Friends,

    Please note that fewer than two weeks remain until the MAY 21 deadline for submitting papers and presentations to be showcased at the EABIS 6th Annual Colloquium. The Barcelonaconference in September will be an excellent platform for discussion of new knowledge development and learning around global governance before a high-level audience of 300+ participants.

    If your work addresses the issues of governance and the role of business in global society we encourage you to submit your papers, abstracts and/or presentations to <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">ESADE</st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st="on">Business</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">School</st1:placetype></st1:place> in the days to come. Alternatively, please circulate this to potentially interested colleagues and encourage them to do likewise!

    Central Theme

    This year's Colloquium will examine the impact of governance issues on business in society at the following three levels:

    I.                    The Global, Supranational, International & Industry Sector Level

    II.                  The National, Sub-National, Local/Regional and City Level

    III.                Company and Individual Manager/Executive Level
