    Hi,

I am looking for any and all country level data on environmental attitudes, beliefs, values etc.  I want to be able to compare one country against another; the more countries the better.  If you have or know of anything that would be helpful, could you please email me directly?

Thank you in advance for any help,
    Andy

    Thanks.

    Hi Andy,

I know some work has been done in Latin America on this topic, c.f.

Bechtel, Verdugo, & Pinheiro. (1999). Environmental belief  systems: United States, Brazil & Mexico. Journal of Cross Cultural Psychology, 30, 1, 122-128

Also, it may not be as relevent to you, but the following article compares childrens´envrionmental beliefs in Houston vs a remote Amazon village (strangely - the groups were highly similar!).

Howe et al  (1996). Along the Rio Negro: Brazilian Children's Environmental Views and Values. Developmental Psychology 32, 6, 979-987

    Hope that helps!
