    Call for Nominations for

    The Crown Prince's Diwan Endowed Chair
    in Social Innovation and Sustainability


    INSEAD invites nominations for the Crown Prince's Diwan Endowed Chair
    in Social Innovation and Sustainability, to be established on INSEAD's
    campus in Abu Dhabi. INSEAD has campuses in Fontainebleau France and
    Singapore, and is now expanding in the United Arab Emirates
    (http://www.insead.edu/middle_east_campus). As "The Business School
    for the World", INSEAD (http://www.insead.edu) brings together
    people, cultures and ideas from around the world to change lives and
    transform organizations. The unique global perspective and
    multicultural diversity of INSEAD are reflected in all aspects of its
    research and teaching.

    The charter of the Chair defines social innovation and sustainability
    broadly to include, among others, research areas such as social
    entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, human capital
    formation, healthcare management, humanitarian logistics, and the
    environment. The common feature is research that can have a positive
    social impact.

    Candidates for the Chair should be established academics, either pre-
    or post-tenure, with significant research reputations in one of these
    or related fields. INSEAD's expectation is that the Chair-holder would
    pursue his or her research and would contribute to its intellectual
    growth and development at the school's new Abu Dhabi campus, and to be
    a positive force in the school's Social Innovation Centre
    (http://www.insead.edu/facultyresearch/centres/isic). Teaching in
    INSEAD's various management programmes in Abu Dhabi and potentially
    other campuses will be linked with the academic areas in the school.
