    Dear ONEites,

     

    A colleague of mine in finance would like to include quantitative measures of environmental performance as an item or variable in his ongoing research.  He wants to investigate the impact of the concentration of ownership, and financing strategies in publically traded firms on environmental performance.

     

    In addition to the Toxic Release Inventory, I remember that several rating systems exist – both proprietary and public domain.  Has anyone published a peer reviewed analysis of these rankings?  I would appreciate any information identifying or rating these rankings.

     

    I would be happy to summarize my results and share them with anyone interested.
