    Dear ONE Friends,

I wanted to let you know about a few things that are happening around the Aspen Institute Center for Business Education that might be of interest to you:

    1. Aspen CBE will be holding a cocktail reception at the Academy of Management conference next month.  If you'll be in Chicago, we'd love to see you there!  The event will be on Sunday, August 9th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.  To RSVP, please contact Chad Ayotte at chad.ayotte@aspeninst.org.  To see the invitation, click here.

    1. I hope you can join us for a web conference on "Environmental Responsibility and the Major Multinational Corporation" from 1:00-2:00 PM Eastern time on July 28th.  The speakers will be Irene Henriques, who is Associate Professor of Economics at the Schulich School of Business at York University, and Bruce Schlein, who is Vice President of Corporate Sustainability at Citi.  The conference is free of charge.  To RSVP, please contact Chad Ayotte at chad.ayotte@aspeninst.org.

    1. I know that those of you involved in Beyond Grey Pinstripes are eager for an update!  With the help of twelve doctoral students, we're still in the process of actively reviewing submissions, making sure that at least two people independently review each school's data.  As you know, 149 schools ended up participating in this round of the survey (over a 30% increase from 2007), which adds up to something like 80,000 pages of data- so thank you for your continued interest and support!  We anticipate being in touch with each school's Pinstripes contact in early October to share the preliminary results, and the public release is scheduled for November 6th.  Please feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions in the meantime.

I hope you're enjoying your summer so far, and that you'll join us at one of the events above!

    Thanks so much,

    Justin
