    Dear all,

I've been invited to write a book review to be published in an academic journal. I am in the process of choosing a book and thought that I would ask you whether you've pubished an academic book recently that you would like to have written up. It will be a balanced review that will discuss both strengths and weaknesses.

I'm going to choose a book that is interesting to me, that is an academic/research oriented book (not a text book), and if possible, that has been written by junior/intermediate colleagues to give them this benefit - the senior people out there aren't in need of it :-) However, senior scholars can let me know about their contributions and I will consider them. I would also like to review a book that hasn't already had a review written in any publication.

I don't expect that too many people have recent books, but in case I get a lot of replies, please understand if I don't choose your book - I can only do one review right now!

I look forward to hearing your suggestions. If you send me a suggestion, please email a thorough outline of your book for my consideration. If I decide to review it and if it's not available in the university libraries yet, I hope you don't mind that I will ask you to send me a copy to read. I will need it sent right away.

    Best wishes,

    Dear Dr. De Lange,

I am not certain from your email how tight your timeline is for this review and how broad your subject matter focus is. However, if it is of interest to you, I have a new book coming out from Yale University Press in August (bound galleys will be available in March/April for reviewers) called GIVING VOICE TO VALUES: .Preparing Business Leaders Not Only to Know What Is Right--But How to Make It Happen.
I have attached a one page description and would be happy to share the proposal if you are interested. Cheers.
