    Hi  Colleagues,

I am looking for information on new/current policies in the US that provide financial incentives to Small, Medium and Large Enterprises if they pursue initiatives that contribute to social, environmental and economic wellbeing of American communities. I am looking for policy initiatives at Federal as well as State Government levels.

If you have read recent business articles and/or policy papers and reports, or have recommendations on some websites that I should look into, please let me know. I am not looking for academic papers but something which is more practitioner-oriented. Moreover, with regard to state government policies, I am not only looking for FL policies, but policies in other states too.

Many thanks, in advance, for your advice.

    Regards,

    Aarti

    Hello Aarti

You might look into the (I believe discontinued - see http://www.environmentalleader.com/2009/03/16/obama-may-kill-epa-performance-track-green-club/) EPA "Performance Track" program, which offered a voluntary alternative to firms that wanted to go beyond minimum regulatory compliance and be recognized for it. I do not know if financial incentives were involved.

There are apparently a number of states that run such programs, although I am not sure which.

    Best regards,

    Ralph
