All Organization and the Natural Environment Division members are welcome to join the very first ONE Professional Development Workshop (PDW) at the Academy of Management 2014 in Philadelphia, entitled: "Urgent Academic Sustainability Action: If Not Now, When? If Soon, What To Do Today?". As indicated in the PDW abstract: "This workshop proposes to attract, inspire, and encourage Academy sustainability-oriented attendees to explore both the need to act more urgently as sustainability management academics and to identify, develop, and commit to (and track) a wide range of potential academic sustainability management actions in 'real time'."
If you feel the need to join other sustainability management academics to more urgently address the pressing multiple challenges of climate disruption, debilitating poverty, mass extinctions, human exploitation and other sustainability crises, then you should consider attending and actively participating in this PDW. The 2-hour session will be held "bright and early" at 8am on Friday morning, August 1st, in the Penn. Convention Center Room 202B and will be collaboratively led via several sets of discussion/action groups by a diverse group of Academy/ONE scholars, representing different disciplines, countries, and generations.
