  • 1.  Request for help - scholarly 'state of the field'

    Dear fellow ONE-ers,

It was great to see many of you at the AOM conference this week, and I hope you all had a safe trip home.

I am writing to seek inspiration and help for a new PhD course on sustainability in management research that we are running at Nanyang Business School (NTU Singapore).

I will be providing an overview of the 'state of our field' next week to introduce PhD students to our research. While I have some very clear ideas on main theories and topics to cover, I want to ask you if you have done something like this in the past, to save me from re-inventing the wheel and benefit from your combined knowledge.

If any of you have material you are willing to share (Powerpoint, graphs, PDF, or other forms) that you don't mind me drawing on for inspiration, I'd be very grateful.

You can reach me at jwalls@ntu.edu.sg

    Thanks and best,
    Judith

    Hello Judith,

At the Network for Business Sustainability, we take the pulse of the issues that are on the minds of managers. This might be interesting for the PhD audience as they search for topics. We do this exercise in Canada, Chile, and South Africa. Here are the links:

    Canada: http://nbs.net/wp-content/uploads/NBS-2015-Opportunities-Report.pdf

I'd appreciate hearing what you find in response to your request, so please either forward to me directly or post back on this listserv.

    Best wishes,

    ....tima
