ONE Plenary Session: The Next 20 Year

    Monday, Aug 10 2015 9:45AM - 11:15AM at Vancouver Convention Centre in Room 210

In honor of our Twenty Year Anniversary, this year's ONE Plenary will examine some themes for research and practice for ONE Division members to consider during the next twenty years. We will start the plenary with Mark Starik's recap of the Saturday PDW on the ONE Division's last twenty years. Andy Hoffman will then share his thoughts, as an academic, about ONE Division research and practice for the next twenty years, which will be followed by James MacKinnon's commentary. James MacKinnon is noted author and local columnist focused on social movements, justice, curbing consumerism, and community building. James' The Once and Future World won the Green Prize for Sustainable Literature in 2014.

Engagement with the speakers is encouraged throughout the session, but particularly in the Q&A period at the end of the plenary. We invite all interested Academy members to attend, but especially those in the ONE Division.
