The Ivey Business School (Western University, London, Canada) is filling a position for a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in business sustainability, commencing 2016 (start date negotiable). The candidate will be a member of a vibrant business sustainability community within the Centre for Building Sustainable Value at the Ivey Business School. The Centre for Building Sustainable Value is also the home of the Network for Business Sustainability (NBS), which aims to bridge research and practice to advance sustainability. The candidate will be a vital part of Ivey's sustainability communities of research and practice and encouraged to lead research-related activities and participate in engaged scholarship.
The incumbent must have demonstrate the ability to conduct high quality research (qualitative or quantitative methods) in topics related to organizational time, space, or scale as they relate to sustainable development. S/he must also demonstrate strong writing and communication skills for both academic and practitioner audiences. The dissertation must be defended prior to commencing employment.
The position will remain open until it is filled with a suitable candidate. Compensation will be approximately $50,000Cdn per year (for 2 years) along with a research/travel stipend.
