networking among early career scholars in ONE and SIM;
one-on-one speed mentoring sessions with senior SIM and ONE scholars,
a non-academic panel to discuss issues such as work-life balance, and
an interactive discussion with editors from the top journals in our field. Please note that this is not a manuscript development workshop.
This year, the JFC is coordinated by Luc Bres of University of Laval (SIM) and Natalia Vidal of University of New Mexico (ONE). SIM is the lead sponsor therefore, applicants are requested to email a current CV to Luc.Bres@fsa.ulaval.ca.
The JFC is a valuable opportunity to meet new colleagues and mentors, and discuss challenging questions related to publishing, teaching, and career development. The consortium is always oversubscribed, so please apply early. You must be available to attend the full session. Preference will be given to first time attendees. Pre-registration is required for this workshop. Once you are accepted into the workshop you will be sent an e-mail of confirmation. Acceptances will take place on a rolling basis with a final deadline of July 12th, 2016.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Luc Bres and Natalia.
