The Institute of the Environment and Sustainability at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) invites applications for a faculty position in environmental and/or energy economics (open rank).
Specifically, we seek a colleague with interests and experience in the following areas of research as they pertain to environmental and/or energy economics -- environmental valuation, environmental policy, corporate sustainability, political economy, behavioral economics, environmental health, international economics, econometrics, experimental economics.

The appointment will be in the UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability (loES). The IoES's primary mission is to identify study and provide solutions for regional and global environmental problems, and to educate the next generation of scholars and leaders. The Institute achieves this mission through its core faculty, affiliated faculty from across UCLA, undergraduate and graduate degree programs, and interdisciplinary centers and off-campus partnerships. The IoES includes faculty in economics, Management, the health sciences, life sciences, physical sciences, social sciences, engineering, law and other disciplines. Preference will be given for candidates with demonstrated interest in working in an interdisciplinary environment. The appointment will be primarily held at the IoES, but affiliations with other campus units are possible.
Applicants will be expected to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate level, advise and mentor graduate students, and contribute to graduate education, the research environment of the department and to university and professional service. The campus is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching, and/or service.
RANK: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor (tenured), or Full Professor.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. or equivalent foreign degree in Economics or related field, experience in environmental and/or energy economics, and evidence of teaching and research.
