Dear ONE community,
I hope to see many of you in our PDWs which start this Friday. Here is just a brief overview of the highlights of this year's PDW program.
The ONE PDW program launches early Friday morning with a session on "Innovating for Sustainability" (8:00AM - 10:00AM, Anaheim Marriott, Grand Ballroom Salon H), followed by a PDW that showcases a multi-level method approach on the topic of climate change (10:45AM - 12:15PM, Anaheim Marriott, Gold Key III).
Friday afternoon is reserved for the ONE Doctoral Consortium (12:30PM - 5:00PM, Anaheim Marriott, Orange County Ballroom 3).
Saturday morning starts early again with the joint SIM-ONE Junior Faculty Consortium which allows junior scholars to start new collaborations and get to interact with many of the renowned scholars in the field of CSR and sustainability (8:00AM - 12:30PM, Anaheim Marriott, Platinum Ballroom 4).
Saturday afternoon starts with a PDW that introduces the audience to the latest novelties in teaching sustainability making use of mobile apps (12:00PM - 2:00PM, Anaheim Marriott, Platinum Ballroom 10).
During the day, several other high quality PDWs will be held on topics ranging from stranded assets in fossil fuels (1:00PM - 2:30PM, Anaheim Marriott, Orange County Ballroom 2), paradox theory and sustainability (2:15PM - 3:45PM, Anaheim Marriott, Platinum Ballroom 8), organizational resilience to environmental risks (2:45PM - 4:15PM, Anaheim Marriott, Orange County Ballroom 2) and the importance of the time dimension in sustainability research (4:30PM - 6:30PM, Anaheim Marriott, Orange County Ballroom 2).
The ONE Welcome Reception will convene in the evening in the Anaheim Marriott (6:30PM - 8:30PM, Anaheim Marriott, Platinum Ballroom 8).
