    Dear Colleagues,

Bard's  National Climate Seminar kicks off next Wednesday at noon eastern with Andrew Light, who will read the tea leaves for us on the shape of future US engagement with the international climate process. Dr. Light served on Obama's Paris negotiating team. Two weeks later, KC Golden will look at what went wrong with carbon pricing politics in Washington State, and following that, we will have two sessions on climate and national security, including a dedicated focus on Syria. Details below.

We stil have a few open spots for our C2C Fellows sustainability leadership training weekend, March 3-5. This is a great chance for your "change agent" students to pick up critical leadership skills, and get inspired as part of a national cohort. Registration is only $30 and covers food and lodging.  Please pass along the opportunity to interested students.

Looking to April, please mark the 4/5 date for a national screening and panel discussion of the Years of Living Dangerously episode "Priceless"  focused on carbon pricing as a solution to the extinction threat of climate change. Details coming soon. And finally, for faculty teaching Asia-related courses, our Third Annual Asia/Environment Student Research Conference is a terrific chance for your students to present their undergraduate or graduate research. Registration is again only $30, covering food and lodging.

    Thanks--

    Eban
