    Assistant Professor of Management

    Organizational Sciences and Sustainability

    (OT/OD/OB)

    College of Business and Technology 

    East Tennessee State University


    Position: Duties and Responsibilities

    The position requires a demonstrated ability to conduct high quality research and perform well in the classroom at the undergraduate and graduate levels. ETSU is a regional university where there is a balance between teaching and research. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach a senior level Organizational Theory and Development course along with a sustainability elective. Some professional/business experience is desirable, but not required.  Interest in sustainability research is also desirable. Service expectations are commensurate with rank. Preference will be given to experienced junior faculty who have completed their Ph.D. at least 2-3 years ago.


    Minimum Qualifications:  All applicants must have completed the requirement for a Ph.D. by the date of the appointment.  Applicants should demonstrate strong potential for conducting scholarly research. Additionally, they must possess an excellent record of teaching and a commitment to serving the university, college and business communities.


     About East Tennessee State University:

ETSU houses both a college of medicine and a college of pharmacy, with a student population of approximately 14,000. ETSU is located in the heart of Johnson City, with a population of 63,152.
