Today is a dark day for climate policy.
Here is the study I mentioned earlier on the effectiveness of energy information programs:
http://www.nature.com/articles/nenergy201733 (Asensio, O.I., & Delmas, M.A. 2017. The Effectiveness of US Energy Efficiency Building Labels. Nature Energy. 2(17033): 1-8.)
Trump is planning to cut both the Energy Star and Better Building Challenge programs.
Both program have many supporters on both sides of the aisle. Hopefully we can help them be heard.
Please tweet the article if you can.

Thanks Aseem. Excellent post. Will Trump cut Energy Star just because he can? Energy Star is saving energy and money. On Monday, Omar Asensio and I will publish a study in Nature Energy that shows that Energy Star LEED buildings save about 19% energy compared to conventional buildings....
We should definitely fight this.
