    Dear colleagues,

This is a call for contributions for the first workshop of the "Cradle to Cradle Innovation Research Community" on 20 October 2017 at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, Germany (see the full call at: https://cgi.tu-harburg.de/~timab/tim/content/2-forschung/1-forschungsschwerpunkte/2-sustainable-innovation/kick-off-event/c2c_inno_research_community_callforcontr.pdf).

We are seeking researchers who have dealt with the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) concept from an innovation (incl. design), sustainability or quality management perspective in order to better understand its underlying processes, impacts, and role in the broader context of the circular economy. We expect poster-like submissions at https://form.jotformeu.com/72115533384352 (Submission deadline: 20 September 2017).

    The workshop is co-hosted by

    - Prof. Cornelius Herstatt (Institute for Technology and Innovation Management, Hamburg University of Technology TUHH)

    - Prof. Erik G. Hansen (Institute for Integrated Quality Design, Johannes Kepler University Linz JKU)

    - Prof. Dominik Walcher (Design & Product Management, Salzburg University of Applied Sciences)

The event is organized by Susanne Heinz and Viktoria Drabe (TUHH) and offered in collaboration with the independent C2C non-profit association (http://c2c-ev.de).

    Agenda (20. Oct):

    12:30 arrival and joint lunch

13:30 get to know each other - poster trail with interactive presentations - workshop on potential  future research

17:30 optional (c2c Congress*): keynote speech by Prince Carlos, Dutch Royal Family

20:15 get together dinner in the old town

*While the scientific workshop is an independent event exclusively for researchers, it takes place in the context of the official Cradle to Cradle Congress – a multi stakeholder gathering (companies, NGOs, science) for advancing the practice of C2C. We recommend to register for the C2C congress as well: http://c2c-kongress.de/en/.

We are looking forward to your contributions.

    Erik
