Dear ONE colleagues and friends,
It is a pleasure for me to announce that our ONE website (http://one.aom.org/) has been totally revamped and now shows a number of interesting features that would like to share with you.
First, it is now particularly easy for you to share your information about any academic events of potential interest, open positions, call for papers, special issues, book announcements and also check others' updates. All the information in the webpage is now very visually oriented so things are easy to find and identify. All the information that you are providing will be posted (including photographs and videos) and be available to a wide community of interested scholars.
Second, the "News" and "Online Resources" sections will also store all the information that are currently distributed by our ONE-mail list. This way every announcement will be now stored in one place so that you can go back in the future to it whenever you need it. Each ONE team (awards, teaching, etc) will also have some specific sections in the webpage to communicate the team progresses or provide materials of potential interest.
Third, building on the previous success of the ONE blog, we have now incorporated to our website this really interesting blog with already many outstanding contributions showing the opinion of prominent scholars in our field. Should you wish to include your own contribution, just email the webmaster (mivalls@ual.es) and you will receive access for posting your blog collaborations. The blog is completely open to any ONE member collaborations.
In general, we wish this newly revamped website to become the agora of the division in which every member can come in and provide/obtain useful information about the division life, our annual meeting along with valuable resources for improving our academic activity. Should you have any comments or ideas to improve the website, please email the webmaster with your insights. Finally, I want to thank all the hard work of our new web manager Miguel Perez-Valls and the engagement of the ONE executive team to make all these progresses.
Best wishes,
Alberto
