I am getting deeper into working with banks on sustainability and environmental management, including asset management, green building finance, green ops for banking, and local partnerships for sustainable econ development.
On Sept 27 I am co-hosting with the Mayor of San Francisco a leadership roundtable on Sustainable Finance. We are stirring the pot in the Bay Area. There are two new "green" banks launching there this fall. And we are running our Sustainable Banking and Green Building Finance workshop in SF on Oct 20.
US EPA and UN are nosing around in this and may be interested to spend some money to learn more how to promote sustainable finance in the USA.
It could be a good project for a couple of biz school finance profs interested in sustainability and who already know a lot about how bankers work with each other in their networks.
