Ithaca College needs to fill a one year visiting position in strategy
starting in August 2008. I would like to get someone who is involved
with ONE. We will be conducting a search for a permanent person
ultimately to fill this position throughout next year in a separate
search. Our preference is someone with an interest in sustainability
issues. The visiting position would be great for someone who is ABD
since the salary level for this position at the professionally qualified

Corporate Strategy
Ithaca College invites applications for a one-year visiting position in
Corporate Strategy. Primary responsibilities include teaching
undergraduate Strategic Management and other undergraduate management
courses. Involvement in scholarly research, student advising, and School
and College governance are expected as well.
Located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of central New York, Ithaca
College is a private, co-educational comprehensive, residential college
of approximately 6,400 undergraduates and 400 graduate students which
emphasizes student learning and development. School of Business programs
are accredited by AACSB-International and have an undergraduate
enrollment of approximately 700 students. The School of Business moved

Candidates should hold an MBA, a Ph.D., or be currently enrolled in a
doctoral program in strategic management. Preference will be given to
candidates with recent publications in refereed journals,
management-related work experience, and teaching or research interest in
sustainability, or entrepreneurship. Evidence of having achieved
excellence in college-level teaching is expected. The College especially
welcomes candidates who can contribute to our students’ understanding of
diversity issues in the workplace. During the 08-09 academic year the
School of Business at Ithaca College will be doing a search for a
permanent tenure track position in strategy. Ph.D. and ABD applicants
for the one-year position are encouraged to apply to that position as well.
