Hello all,
My doctoral student is looking for a general measure of environmental performance for S&P 500 firms from 2001-forward that she doesn't have to aggregate from TRI facilities data. Can anyone tell me what they consider to be the gold standard variable people use to measure firm environmental performance over time? She wants to use this as a control variable for one of her dissertation chapters, but all she can find is industry or facility specific data.
Thanks for any and all help,
Andy
