Sometimes sustainability events are just plain nice.  If you are in New York metro, I heartily recommend the "Climb the Green Ladder" book launch party.  Shari Aaron has been a Skyped in virtual guest in my seminar on managing for sustainability (invite her to your class wherever you are!) from her Westport, Connecticut, location.

I am certain that clinking glasses with these practitioners and activists and those who they attract will be very pleasant.  (Yes, I rue that such events enabling the sort of exchanges that Victorian dinners offered are too few and far between nowadays!)

It's on Thursday, January 21st, 6:30 pm in NYC  -- Women Climbing The Green Ladder.  All the details are in your invitation which is at:

    http://womenclimbingthegreenladder.eventbrite.com

Celebrate the book launch of Climb the Green Ladder: Make Your Company and Career More Sustainable and come hear how women are succeeding by embracing sustainability in their careers.

    The roundtable discussion will include:

Shari Aaron, Founder, Climb the Green Ladder

Maria Figueroa Kupcu, Director, Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practice, Brunswick Group

    Tensie Whalen, President, Rainforest Alliance

Adriana Villasenor, Manager of Public Policy and Sustainability, PepsiCo

Moderator:  Natalia Oberti Noguera, Executive Director, New York Women Social Entrepreneurs (NYWSE)
