The Department of Management and Marketing at UMass-Boston invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Strategy, beginning Fall 2010. Secondary teaching and research interests in environmental management, entrepreneurship and international business are strongly desired. Appropriate candidates will hold an earned Ph.D./DBA in Strategy, Management or closely related discipline and will be expected to teach core and elective courses in strategy and secondary areas at graduate and undergraduate levels.
The Department is part of the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">AACSB-accredited</st1:placename> College of Management, which has been growing rapidly, and has just launched a new graduate degree in International Management. The College now offers two bachelor and five masters degrees and has an enrollment of 2300 students. The College of Management has recently established a Center for Sustainable Enterprise and Regional Competitiveness and is also developing an MBA specialization in Entrepreneurship. </st1:place>
