First, my apologies if you receive a number of related messages from various listservers in the next few days, I'm trying to reach a diverse range of stakeholders that somewhat overlap in their memberships.
My goal in contacting you is to bring to your attention the approaching deadline for submissions for the 2011 International Association for Business & Society (IABS) conference, which I have the pleasure of hosting in Bath, England, next June. Submissions of abstracts and proposals are due on December 6th - JUST OVER THREE WEEKS FROM TODAY.
In recent years, we've enjoyed a strong showing from scholars active in environmental and sustainability issues, partly because of the environmental conference themes. While the conference theme this time, Modern Slavery, isn't perhaps most relevant to you, I wanted to take the oppoortunity to encourage your participation in the conference anyway. As usual, we welcome and encourage submissions on the varied themes that characterise the lively scholarly conversation at IABS - stakeholder theory and management, business ethics, ecological, sustainable and environmental thinking, governance, business-government relations, corporate responsibility, corporate social performance, and comparative and international business ethics, among many others.
Further information about the conference can be found on the IABS website:
I hope to see as many of you as possible in Bath next year,
All the best,
Steve Brammer
