Greetings ONE-ers!

With just over a week to go, I'm sending you the terrific line-up of ONE PDWs we have this year. (also available online:

The Academy of Management Professional Development Workshops sessions on Friday and Saturday provide informal spaces for developing our research and teaching. Join ONE workshops to explore emerging research challenges on recovering from extreme events (#213), cross-sector partnerships for social innovation (#30) and teaching sustainability (#210 and #253). ONE workshop organisers are also pushing the boundaries of traditional management scholarship with sessions on the role of the future in strategy (#125), degrowth as an economic growth alternative (#132) and special sessions on environmental research in Africa (#328) and Ibero America (#187).

New initiatives this year include the Sustainability Case Lab Breakfast Saturday morning for all of you early risers flying from the East (session #166), where you can enjoy a light breakfast while discussing winning teaching cases. ONE will also be co-hosting a film screening of "Shakti Rising" on Friday evening as part of a session on Base of the Pyramid Research Methods (session #140).

New, potential and returning members: be sure to check out the ONE Welcome Reception on Saturday evening to share some Texan treats and great company (session #384), and venture out to the inspiring Institute of Texas Cultures for the ONE Social on Monday evening (session #1216).
