Dear Colleagues,
The Organization & Environment review issue is accepting proposals to develop in-depth reviews of specific topics around the connections between organizations and the natural environment. The authors of papers in this special issue might focus on any of the multiple dimensions in the organizations and natural environment literature such as strategic implications, international perspectives, certification challenges, institutional influences, related capabilities, the role of regulation, climate change, or the clean industry and technologies, among many others.
O&E is a leading international journal focusing on the interactions between the management of organizations and the different dimensions of the general environment, and is listed in both the "environmental studies" and "management" categories of the Thompson-JCR Social Sciences Citation Index.
Frances Bowen (Queen Mary University of London, F.Bowen@qmul.ac.uk) and Stephanie Bartels (Simon Fraser University, stephanie_bertels@sfu.ca) are the two guest editors of this special review issue, and they are open to answer your questions or receive your ideas about this special issue.
Authors are invited to submit 3-5 page summaries of their prospective review article through the O&E's site at Manuscript Central (http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/oe) between January 1 and February 15 2014. The decisions on proposals will be shared with authors and selected authors will be invited to submit full papers by July 1st, 2014.
