Dear colleague (with apologies for cross-posting),
I write to call your attention to one or more open faculty positions at the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia.
*Details on the positions are attached in pdf form.* In short, we seek great teachers. Successful candidates for more senior positions will be leaders of teaching innovation at the School and must have a demonstrated interest in pedagogy. Successful candidates for all open positions will have an established record of superior teaching and will demonstrate preparation to teach undergraduate and Master of Public Policy (MPP) students.
All openings are fixed-term positions with the possibility of renewal. Rank, salary, benefits, and support for research or pedagogic activities will be generous, conditional on experience. Applications are now being accepted online at https://jobs.virginia.edu .
The University of Virginia is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer. Women, minorities, veterans and persons with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply. We also welcome suggestions for people to contact.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Regards, Jay
