So that we know what the other AOM divisions are doing, here is OMT's statement on our present reality.

    Dear Andrew,

The Executive Committee of the OMT Division met this past weekend in Montreal. We want you to know that we share the concern of many about the effects of the Trump travel ban. Amongst other things, this ban – if maintained – will prevent scholars and students who are citizens of affected countries from participating in the Atlanta conference as well as other scholarly activities taking place in the United States (papers accepted or not). We are reaching out to our members to ask you to let us know if and how the ban is likely to affect you personally, and in what way the division can help ensure that we remain the open community of scholars we want to be. We appreciate your feedback.

The OMT Executive Committee has also urged the Board of Governors of the Academy to find ways to actively combat policies that prevent it from fulfilling its mission of fostering the free exchange of ideas and from welcoming scholars from around the world into its community. The OMT division is considering how it can support efforts to ensure diverse participation in the conference and in other forms of scholarly activity related to our mission both in the United States and elsewhere.

We know that the Academy of Management Executive Committee and Board of Governors has been working on this issue intensively and further announcements and information will appear shortly on the main Academy website http://aom.org. We recommend following these developments.

Best wishes from the members of the OMT Executive Committee
Ann Langley (Division Chair), Nelson Phillips (Past Division Chair), Marc-David Seidel (Division Chair Elect), Davide Ravasi (Program Chair), Peer Fiss (PDW Chair),  Vibha Gaba, Nina Granqvist, Anne-Claire Pache, Jo-Ellen Pozner, Tal Simons, Wendy Smith, Bilian Sullivan, Pat Thornton (representatives)
