The ONE community is strong because of our many committed volunteers who work to advance our important work at the intersection of organizations and the natural environment. As you may have seen from a general email from AOM, it is now the season during which we nominate those who may serve our respective divisions in the future. We need your nominations to continue to thrive as a community!
The 2016 Division and Interest Group nominations website is open now, and will remain open until February 28th. If you have not already done so, please take a moment to participate in this important effort to identify potential volunteer leaders. We also encourage self-nominations!

There is an opening in each of the following committees:
Awards team – This team convenes and coordinates divisional award committees.
Communications team – This team is responsible for the newsletter, list serve and, in conjunction with the web administrators, web content. It ensures that members stay in touch with the division between academy meetings, by disseminating professional news and opportunities to division members;
Greening team – This team supports the greening of the Academy and particularly its annual meetings by providing advice to other academy divisions on the sustainability of their academy activities;
Membership & nominations – This role includes welcoming new members; broadening and deepening membership; helping to identify members to serve on our teams; and organizing elections;
Integration & internationalization – This team ensures that ONE divisional activities are well-integrated with those of the other divisions and other allied organizations, and works especially to integrate Academy members from outside of North America;
Program team – These team members support the program chair in developing the ONE conference program, including the doctoral and junior faculty consortia; serve as associate editors for the program; provide advice on program content, including emergency reviewing; and advise on best paper and best reviewer awards; and
Teaching team – This role includes promoting teaching of ONE issues across management disciplines and supporting members' teaching by sharing useful resources and best practices.
We are also looking for a Program-Chair Elect – This is the primary leadership position of the division. This position rotates from organizing the PDW program in year 1 to program chair in year 2, division chair elect in year 3, division chair in year 4, and past division chair in year 5.
