  • 2.  Looking for examples and cases on corporate actions to preserve biodiversity

    Posted 10-13-2017 18:33
    Dear Colleagues,

I am working on an article on corporate actions to preserve biodiversity and hoping you might be able to lead me to example companies and good sources of information.  I'm particularly interested in companies or industries who have acted aggressively to preserve critical biological resources. Even more specifically, it would be great if they were large organizations whose efforts have made significant impact on the preservation, stewardship, or restoration of critical habitat for biodiversity.  Finally, efforts of collective action that have had such effects would be even better.  I'm guessing efforts in fisheries, forests, and agriculture will end up at the top of the list.

Please let me know if you have any ideas and any good summary sources or articles on the efforts such companies.  You can send it directly to me at tom.dean@colostate.edu, or post to the entire list if you think it will be of interest.

    Thanks, everyone!  Tom

Partnerships play a key role in WWF's efforts to influence the course of conservation.
