AOM 2017 Joint SIM-ONE Junior Faculty Consortium

Hello ONErs!
Arrangements for this year's SIM-ONE Junior Faculty Consortium at the AOM meeting are well underway, so if you are a newly appointed junior faculty member or postdoc fellow (congratulations!), or have been in your junior faculty position less than 5 years, we would love to have you apply for this PDW.
If you are not junior faculty, do you know someone you would like to nominate for the Junior Faculty Consortium? Please send your nomination/s ASAP to gsharma@ivey.ca or Nardia.Haigh@umb.edu, so we can send them a personal invitation.
The program includes:
· networking among early career and senior scholars in ONE and SIM
· one-on-one mentoring with senior SIM and ONE scholars on your research program and feedback on a working paper/research idea from a senior SIM/ONE scholar with whom you will be matched
· small group discussions on non-academic issues such as engaging with practice/policy, work-life balance, and developing your professional identity
· an interactive discussion with editors from the top journals in our field

Application Deadline:
The consortium is always oversubscribed, so please apply by June 25, 2017. Applicants are requested to email a current CV to gsharma@ivey.ca. You must be available to attend the full session. Preference will be given to first time attendees. Pre-registration is required for this workshop. Once you are accepted into the workshop you will be sent an e-mail of confirmation. Acceptances will take place on a rolling basis with a final deadline of July 15, 2017.
