The Department of Business and Accounting at Furman University invites applications for an open rank tenure-track position to begin August 1, 2017. We encourage applications from candidates in management, operations management, business analytics, and/or supply chain management who demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, student advising, and research in a liberal arts environment. We are interested in hiring faculty members with diverse perspectives who will foster innovation in our curriculum and provide a rich and varied educational experience for our students. Candidates should have earned a Ph.D. in business administration or related field, a primary teaching interest in operations management, and a capability and/or desire to teach courses in supply chain management and/or business analytics. The Department of Business and Accounting confers the B.A. degree with a major in either Business Administration or Accounting, and has recently added a state-of-the-art finance and business analytics lab.
