    Dear Colleagues,

This fall, I will again be out speaking on campuses, this time on Climate Change, Tribalism, and the Future.  The last six months have been a hard time for students who are concerned about the world around us. In this talk, I take the long view, and argue that climate change action will increasingly occupy the center of a winning global political movement for a sustainable future.

The talk can be a public lecture, a brown bag, or for a class, and there is no cost for the presentation. Please let me know if you would like to schedule a talk. Depending on the opportunities, my program can also cover the costs to travel to deliver several talks coordinated in a given region.

While on campus, I also typically give a career talk to junior/senior environmental studies classes: "How to Get a Job in Sustainability: Leadership Careers in NGO's, Business and Policy". The talk covers many of the topics in this article. I also do this second talk as a webinar, and again, am glad to drop in remotely into your junior/senior classes or departmental brownbags, or to work with your career office to schedule a stand-alone event. The good news about the times we live in: no shortage of ways to make a difference.

The Bard Center for Environmental Policy is also sponsoring these fall webinars as part of our National Climate Seminar:

20-Sep   Regional Climate Action and the Paris Process
    Susan Biniaz, JD, Columbia University

1-Nov    A Pollution-free Planet: The Upcoming UN Environmental Assembly
Fatou Ndoye, United Nations Environment Programme

6-Dec  Tropical deforestation and climate change: more than CO2
Dr. Deborah Lawrence, University of Virginia

All talks are at noon eastern, and are recorded for later viewing. Log-in information to follow.

We are living in a momentous time, and our communities are looking for broad perspective on a way forward. Thanks for the work you are doing,

    Eban
