Duke University invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions in the area of Corporate Environmental Sustainability to begin in the Fall of 2010. As a faculty member, the individual will hold joint appointments in the Fuqua School of Business and the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions (NIEPS). Applicants should have a strong research record in corporate environmental sustainability, broadly defined, and must be willing to contribute to the research missions of both Fuqua and NIEPS. In addition, the individual will be expected to contribute to the teaching mission of Fuqua; and to the outreach, teaching, and research missions of Duke's Corporate Sustainability Initiative. CSI brings together resources from Fuqua, NIEPS, and the Nicholas School of Environment, offering a program of research, teaching and outreach in corporate sustainability, particularly the overlap of energy, environment, and sustainability issues.
All ranks from assistant professor to full professor will be considered, although senior candidates will be given preference. Applicants must have a Ph.D. by the date of appointment, a strong research record, and ability to teach in Fuqua's Ph.D. and MBA programs.
