    The premier international student competition showcasing emerging opportunities in the cleantech sector. Invited teams represent the best and brightest business ideas in clean technology.

    The Challenge
    Escalating worldwide competition for resources, such as energy and water, and related environmental issues are creating substantial demand and opportunities for innovation, new technologies, and new ventures to serve existing and emerging markets.

    The Awards

    • Prestigious G.C. Andersen $25,000 cash award is shared among the four finalist teams
    • Top ranked team invited to present its plan at the NREL Industry Growth Forum
    • Investors' Circle will circulate the top team's executive summary to investors
    • Seagate Technologies $10,000 Award

    Sustainable Opportunities Summit
    Network with corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists who will explore how various economic sectors and industries can financially benefit by incorporating climate change into their business strategies.  www.sosummit.org
