Researchers who use TRI data in their analyses, be aware that EPA is
considering important changes to toxic release inventory (TRI)
reporting: (1) reducing reporting thresholds, and (2) reducing the
    frequency of reporting.

If you are concerned that this will hamper your current and future
efforts to conduct research in the ONE area, e.g. empirical research,
case studies or assessments of corporate environmental reports, please
take the time to submit a comment at:

    http://www.epa.gov/fedrgstr/EPA-TRI/2005/November/Day-29/tri23416.htm

Deadline for comments is January 13, 2006.

I have been asked by the TRI office to provide some input on this
matter, and would welcome some comments from ONE members directly to MY
EMAIL. I will then relay your comments to people in the TRI office.

PLEASE FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO YOUR COLLEAGUES WHO HAVE AND PLAN TO USE
    TRI DATA IN THEIR RESEARCH
