Dear ONErs,
Apologies for any cross-postings, but we'd love to see you at the following symposium, in which we will explore what climate changes means from a variety of theoretical perspectives and levels of analysis:
What can our theories tell us about climate change?
All-Academy Symposium
2009 Academy of Management Meeting, Chicago
Sunday 9 August, 2.30pm – 4.00pm
Regency Chicago in the Acapulco Room
Speakers:
Max Bazerman (Harvard)
Scott Sonenshein (Rice)
Monika Winn (Victoria)
Bettina Wittneben (Oxford)
Dev Jennings (Alberta)
Chairs:
Nardia Haigh (Michigan)
Ray Zammuto (Queensland)
Panel members will provide specific theoretical insights about responses at the individual, organizational and organizational field levels of analysis, and will also identify potentially fruitful avenues of research. Our aim is to facilitate a better understanding of potential linkages and blind spots among theoretical traditions and among various levels of analysis about climate change.
Safe travels to Chicago!
Regards,
Nardia and Ray
