Greetings,
I hope all is well. I would appreciate your opinions on possible texts for a new course I am developing: Management 225: Sustainable Enterprise Management. The course will be the entry level course for a minor in sustainability management. I am considering using Mike Russo's Environmental Management, but I would like to evaluate the alternatives. The learning objectives of the course are:
Upon completing this course, you should be able to:
1. Explain the concept of sustainable development with respect to business practices.
2. Identify how sustainability may contribute to competitive advantage.
3. Apply appropriate techniques for evaluating the economic, environmental, and social impact of organizational activities.
4. Demonstrate an understanding of how an individual manager can promote sustainable business development.
5. Identify elements of current business practice that do not adhere to sustainability principles.
