    Hello Ron –

    I received your email as a forwarded email via Ted London at the University of Michigan.  I wanted to highlight a few cases in Sustainability that you might find interesting.  They are low-cost to the students ($3.00/copy), and exceptionally well-written.  Sustainability is one of our niche areas.

    With a catalog of more than 250 cases, we assist current and future business leaders and researchers by providing high-impact materials for understanding international business operations.  I think that your teaching materials and ideas regarding sustainability would be a valuable contribution to the academic community.

    EO's products are available through our website, GlobaLens.  GlobaLens is fast becoming a leading source of educational material in International Business cases and courses, and also provides a forum for IB faculty to discuss pedagogical issues and share syllabi and other teaching materials.  You may access the entire catalog via the website, www.GlobaLens.com.

    Our goal is to make teaching materials easily accessible to you and your colleagues and to provide you with a forum to discuss pedagogical and other issues. This aspect of the website is being redesigned, and I welcome your input to make it better.

    I'd also like to make sure you know that WDI offers the finest outlet available to international business faculty to publish course materials. WDI provides professional copy editing and formatting for your materials.

    I hope you will engage with the GlobaLens community in one or more of the following ways:

    • Submit teaching materials:  Contribute your cases, conceptual notes, etc., at www.globalens.com/submissions.aspx. WDI pays authors a 25% royalty on sales.
    • Submit your syllabi:  We encourage you to share your syllabi with your colleagues.  These will be available only to other registered educators.
    • Engage in our community space: Join the conversation with other scholars who are interested in similar topics.

    EO especially focuses on creating, aggregating and disseminating business knowledge for emerging markets.  We have developed special case-study collections focusing on the ">http://globalens.com/bop/?pid=c1">Base of the Pyramid, ">http://globalens.com/sustainability/?pid=c1">Sustainability and ">http://globalens.com/ibtools/?pid=c1">IB Tools.  I think you will find many valuable teaching resources on GlobaLens; your expertise and teaching material regarding going to market would be especially helpful to WDI and to the IB community.

    You can easily register on Globalens.com and receive the educators' discount.  You will also gain access to full inspection copies of all cases.

    I hope that you will find the new www.globalens.com to be a valuable resource and that you will encourage its use by your colleagues.  If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

    Subject: Sustainability-related case study suggestions?

    Hello,

    I am updating my sustainability-focused "Business, Government, & Civil Society" MBA class. I would like to find high-quality case studies with teaching notes to use in the class. The core topics I cover in the class are:

    - The business case for sustainability;

    - Stakeholder engagement;

    - The public policy process;

    - The roles and interaction of business, government, and civil society, include the growth in the number and the influence of NGOs.

    I see there are some links to case study resources on the ONE website, but I would appreciate any specific recommendations on case studies that you have written, used, or know about.

    Please email you recommendations directly to me at ron.roman@presidioedu.org or send them to the listserv.

    Thanks for your assistance.

    Cheers!

    Ron
