    Dear All,

I made a request earlier for PhD seminar syllabi in the area of sustainability (ONE, etc.) and was asked to share what I received with you.

So, with permission and thanks, I am sending you the work of a couple of people, Judith Walls and Michael Hernke.

I would like to extend special thanks to Judith for all her extra help and good luck with her (very extensive) proposal!

    Sincerely,

    Dr. Debbie de Lange

It is disappointing that my work is not included in this reading list. Having been involved driving a wide range of change in business over several decades I am convinced that the socio-psychological issues are paramount; get these sorted out and you will deal with sustainability. Beyond the theory, one example of how important this is ... A coal face issue is aligning your incentives with the organisational needs and the preferences of employees.

A lot of the stuff in the syllabi is management stuff (clunky science stuff) that will not happen unless leadership (artistic stuff) is effectively deployed.
