UCLA Institute of the Environment and Sustainability (IoES) is seeking a qualified Lecturer to co-teach Environment 277 in Winter 2014 and to lead a Advanced Topics graduate seminar in Spring 2014.
The Winter 2014 course, Environment 277, is the 4-unit core course for the Leaders in Sustainability graduate certificate program and will be co-taught with Profs. Magali Delmas (IoES) and Charles Corbett (Anderson). This course explores various sustainability-related themes, capitalizing on the wide mix of disciplines represented among participating students. Sessions feature UCLA faculty members, external speakers, and leadership skills to help students learn more about how to best put their interests in sustainability into practice.
The Spring 2014 course, Environment 297B, is a 2-unit course focusing on further developing students' leadership skills and providing supervision and support for students completing the leadership project requirement for the Leaders in Sustainability certificate program.

Qualifications:
- Masters degree or higher in a relevant environmental or sustainability field
- Demonstrated experience teaching at the university level
- Advanced knowledge of sustainability concepts
- Demonstrated experience working in successful interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of public, private and non-profit sustainability efforts across Los Angeles region (preferred)
Appointment: 25% time per quarter
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
